DTEL SYSTEM INFORMATION
Mayan digital DTEL wireless phone systems is a complete
system, including antennas and cables to provide toll quality speech for
two telephone lines and an additional data channel over a point-to-point
radio link. DTEL systems are available in a 19.2Kbps or a 64Kbps version
over 25 or 100kHz RF channel. The systems allow for simultaneous phone,
fax and Internet/www access.
The low cost per line, digital DTEL
system are available in VHF and UHF frequency bands (66-88, 136-520MHz)
and utilize high performance digital modulation techniques and advanced
voice compression techniques.
Available in a convenient compact
desktop configuration, on a 19“ professional rack mount version, they
operate with 13.8VDC or from optional DC or AC power
converters.
The Wireless Rural Loop (WRL) DTEL systems provide toll
quality digital wireless telephone line extensions for business,
residential and payphone service (optional modules required), into remote
areas.
DTEL systems can link up to 50 km or more in a line-of-site
manner. Digital repeaters are available from Mayan to extend service over
mountaintops.
Most applications for the DTEL systems use the data
channel for asynchronous data (V.24, RS 232), although the systems
accommodate adaptive bandwidth allocation for maximum spectrum efficiency
and fastest data speed.
